After the first two records of that mad Psychobilly band from Potsdam were selling out for long time, the friends of crazy Psychobilly music can breathe again. Right now, the original songs of “punkabilly from hell” and “monster party” records are pimped up for listening again on digi-pack cd. It is about time, because the demand was huge and the publicity of the band grows day for day. Of course, the songs did not lose any quality, contrariwise- they are hot, agitating and more appealing then ever, and nearly you can believe that the short trip rotting in hell has done its good to them. The cd is coming in a beautiful four paged digi pack with the original cover artwork of “monster party”. With altogether 28 songs, the runtime of the cd is completely exhausted. The re-release album comes by a pressing at 2000, firstly.

“Monster Party”: 15 month after the release of the debut-CD "punkabilly from hell!" THEE FLANDERS now presents their new album "monsterparty”. More varietal, more self confidence and much more influence of psychobilly - so there comes this 2nd longplayer of the crazy guys from Potsdam/Germany. The album is full of hits like "amok", "deadly secrets" or "dead in my bed", where THEE FLANDERS show, how traditional psychobilly sound nowadays. Thereby old heros like THE METEORS or DEMENTED ARE GO! We´re not just copied or glorified, but covered in a very own FLANDERS-way. Furthermore, it has to be mentioned that there were a lot of guest musicians working with THEE FLANDERS on their longplayer, e.g. KATHY X, UP TO VEGAS, RIPMEN and TAZMANIAN DEVILS who give this record an even deeper soul. Finally there are also three cover-songs that can not be more different: MISFITS “living hell”, WANDA JACKSON “funnel of love” and MAD SIN “meattrain at midnight” in a german version “fleischzug um mitternacht” , all in a very special way… All in all - the best publication of THEE FLANDERS ! Punkabilly from Hell: The music of Thee Flanders is an untypical mixture of fat-sounding psychobilly a la MAD SIN and fast’n’hard old-school-punkrock . A highlight is undoubtedly the smash-hit “Perverses Schwein” which – untypically for a psycho band – is sung in German. With the grumbling voice of shouter Norman, the apocalyptical horror-lyrics and the extravagant horrorshow on stage the morbid impression of the band is nearly perfect. All in all, it is a nasty and evil record of varity, which will not give only friends of this music a cold shiver on their humpbacked dorsum. Amen.
