After weeks of screwing, tinkering and packaging, the long announced THEE FLANDERS coffin box is finally available. Who could wait, will richly rewarded now. With regard to scope, cost and content of collection were broken probably standards. maybe call it insanity.

Its normal, if 2 freaks think about to construct a real coffin and pack in this case records and memorabilia or is it pure insanity? You could sit in front of the TV… or drive to the lake in sunshine and go swiming. But instead of idleness, we prefer to work in dark, dark vaults and fills black, wooden death boxes.

The idea was born in the summer of 2015, as the HALB 7 label boss found one of his hand-made mini coffins, which was made into the Carpenters apprenticeship under the work bench. The joke came very well at that time. In the wooden chest were kept coins, teeth’s, bullets, insects, bone splinters, plastic skeletons and other rubbish. So it was an indispensable tool. Why should the whole thing not work with CDs, in a slightly larger version?

There was no art of persuasion to convince Norman Flanders by this extraordinary plan. A sketch was made quickly and it went off. More than a year of preparation has gone and no one had any idea that there should be such a big challenge. We have been spent countless hours with design, construct, grind, print, brush, glue, cut, wrap, screw…etc finally real and arduous hand work.

Musically we´re already used that the Potsdamned four, breaking the (psychobilly)-rules gladly.

However turning the 6 screws out of the box and lifts the black plate, you quickly recognize that it is more than just a simple collection of cover songs and favorites. THEE FLANDERS here present visually as well as in impressive audible form, their cover versions from last 10 years.

2 exclusive CDs were recorded, which are only contained in the box (You Spin Me Round…Like a Record feat. Bela B – MCD + Enjoy the Silence - EXPANDED EP CD). In addition there are the two regular graverobbing albums + DVD and Promo CD. Included are promo songs, demo tracks, rare remixes and bonus tracks. In total, this is on 5 CDs, 63 audio tracks (some of them unpublished) with 180 minutes of playing time and 120 minutes of footage. The 4 Psychobillys also receive additional support from selected, famous, infamous stars & starlets: especially the Count Bela B. and Achim Mentzel, who had unfortunately gone too far from us. We wish you lots of fun with this special collection box.
